How To Install XAMPP On Linux / Ubuntu Operating System.
XAMPP full name cross-platform (X) , Apache (A) Server, MariaDB (M), PHP (P), Perl(P).
Xampp is used for local hosts or local servers. Xampp is used for developing websites with the testing on a local server or in your computer. Xampp is mostly used in windows systems.
Step 1: Download xampp exe from its official website it is open source
Step 2: After the downloading completes, open the terminal with a shortcut key (ctrl+alt+t) or search. Change the directory with command cd Download/ (Directory may be changed as per the xampp downloading directory)
Step 3: After the entering in the Download directory make xampp downloaded file executable with using command (sudo chmod -R 777 xampp_file_filename).
Step 4: Run the command for install executable file the downloading process will start.
Command: sudo ./xampp-linux-x64-7.2.9-0-installer.run
Step 5 : Now the installation window appears at the front of you, follow the instructions for install.
Click on Next Button
Step 6: Now the Final Installation window appears in front of you.
Now click on Launch XAMPP then click on FINISH button
Now XAMPP installed
Step 7: Now XAMPP is installed.
Step 8: Now for the xampp run open the terminal, if the terminal closed after the installation.
Type Command (cd /opt/lampp)
Step 9: Now the XAMPP run window appears, click on the manage server tab.
Then click Start All button it at the bottom of the window
Step 10: Now all the service has started, for check run localhost/ in browser url field.
